finally!

the weather is getting nice. it only took forever! considering, i think only2 weeks ago it was snowing. anyhoo, nice weather means rummage sales!! yay! city wide sales her were pretty fun, it was rainy and chilly and windy. but oh well. you just go with it! ha. here are my few faves: this is an old medicine cabinet. the paint is chipping super bad and i'm going to peel it off and redo it. i'm super excited about this project!

and here is a super cute thrift store find! i love seeing what everybody has, or used to have but doesn't hold their interest anymore :) oh and here is good one too! *bride bingo*! my sister is getting married next September and i get to be the maid of honor. ooh, that means bridal shower and games. and...bachlorette party. hehe.

and i can finally show this off! Ari, from Happy Cactus, set up a private swap a few weeks ago. she made these super cute pin cushions. and i wanted one. so we decided to have a swap to make it even. i made her this crafty/baking apron. she'll look super cute in the kitchen :) i love it! i almost didn't want to send. i liked it that much. the cute apple fabric is from the dozens march kit. gotta love it! super cute and so much fun! this is what has been filling my time. plus lots of *girl* time with kaci & kira :) happy thrifting to all those who love it! everyone else, have an amazing day too! <3>

just kind of lurking in the shadows

thats kind of what i've been doing. i'm not sure why. i haven't had much to say. feeling kind of bummed lately. its the weather. every one always says how they love spring and its supposed to be so cheery and so on... for me, i hate spring. i have no clue what it is, but ever since i was 14, {yikes, over 10 years ago, time does fly!} i get super depressed. from about march until the end of May. *sigh* i always know its coming so i try to prepare myself. oh well. what i have done over the last few days: *i'm finally sewing squares together for Kaci's quilt *bought Juno for my Ipod *cleaning up my computer of unneeded *stuff* *listening to the best music ever. i've fallen in love w/ Garbage all over again! *played in the rain! *found some awesome sewing books, they actually have how-tos on how to make rad curtains! anyway...this is what i did buy: downtown DIY Sewing *most recently? cleaning and rearranging. i got my goodies that i ordered from my boyfriends mom! hooray! here are a few photos of my home: oh and one more cute thing!!! are these not the cutest foam stickers ever!? have an amazing weekend! later <3

yuppers! i love this kit. it has been lots o' fun! haha, there's just lots to use, and everything works together. so you know, go with what works :) and scrapjacked, it was a good lo. simple. we like simple. here is my lo. cross your fingers & wish me luck! lol

here is another xmas lo. don't ask, its what i've been feeling like doing. feels weird to scrap xmas in the spring time, but oh well. it's been fun, and thats what counts!

my faves....

here are a few 'new' LOs. i did them a week ago or so. i already posted on flickr, but i feel like posting them here too :D the first LO of my daughter, with the dozens march kit. luuuv it! how awesome is it that Kaci is 7 and i just happen to get a #7 playing card in my kit. pretty randomly lucky!! lol my sis and her 'fiance' or my bil as he likes to say. the photo is from their Xmas card. i'm feeling very inspired lately, but i've had the flu and a silly sinus infection that doesn't ever let up. so i've just been relaxing hoping for those days where i feel much better. letting my head fill up with lots of things i want to accomplish. those three days off, and i get sick. go figure! oh well, it was bound to happen. the girls and i haven't been sick for awhile. with the exception of my never-ending sinus infection. hmm, well its off to bed, off to bed. 4am comes too fast! [ps] its my boyfriends b-day today! the day didn't turn out too bad. he's half way to 50 now! :)

so i finally got an apron done for my etsy shop! it only took forever. and there's only one. no worries, i'm already working on some more, so this cute little apron won't be so lonely!

the dozens kits

hooray! i got the dozens march kit! it is so fabulous! lots of cute papers and the 'little' things, make it just right. yes, its true. this is my very first dozens kit, my first scrapbook kit at all, actually, that i've purchased. i'm lame, this is true too. i'm so broke lately, even with christmas done and over with. oh well, i will not complain for i have gotten one now. and i had tons of fun! and there is still more to come! i have three glorious days off from work! :) can you feel my excitement, i'm sooo overjoyed! it is my weekend off and one of my co-workers didn't get scheduled very many days for the end of march so i offered her one of my short shifts. which equalled out to my three days off. and i know, i'm tight on money, why offer her one of my days? bc i know how it feels to no have enough hours and she was scheduled 5 days off in a row. now that is way too many. so i tried to help. so yes, my three days have many plans! my mind is moving fast though. i need to write down all that i want to accomplish or not get anything done at all. boo. wish me luck! i can't wait to get it all done! i love that feeling!!
