so glad we can listen to music together :)this is my top ten LO. i really loved this photo at first, but now, I'm having second thoughts. oh well, it is me. hmm, i have gotten my tax money back. i am contemplating getting a new camera. my last camera broke. it won't turn on, the only thing troubleshooting said was maybe it needed a new battery. already? it's only a year old. thats why I'm thinking maybe something new. any ideas? the canon looks nice, it is on sale. lol such a big decision!

lazy saturday morning

Looking thru flickr for pretty pictures :) staying inside to scrapbook and play on the computer today. and try and figure out how to finish my quilt. i sewed the blocks together. now it's on to the backing and what have you. that is what my saturday will consist of. maybe some cleaning too! way to COLD to go outside. last time i checked it was still 6 below! yikes!

no excuses!

i've not been blogging again. i'm just not that exciting i guess! What have i been doing? i made my top ten faves again: (january 10, 2008) 1. candlelight 2.caramel rice cakes 3.Target 4.being organized 5.making mixed cds 6.the Black Apple 7.my sewing machine 8.my crock pot 9.mascara 10. Juno I had my sister make on for me about two months ago, and I just thought maybe i'd do one every so often to see how much I change. Or what is going on in that period of time, to remind me of the stuff we enjoyed. My sister is quite my motivator. Hooray! And Jesse is a close second. [my friend that is a boy, hence he is like a boyfriend. some days...] :) and these two :are my inspiration! <3

free spirit

my sisterhere is a LO of my sister. it's seriously missing something. i have NO idea what to put in there! I layed some pink KI lace down and painted white over it. then i peeled the lace up and some of the pink stayed on. I love how it looks and don't want to cover it up! that's why i'm at such a loss! my hope was that if i put it online, it would come to me. you know, you show it around and then suddenly realize what was missing. cross your fingers...ha!

i've been bad

So, lots of time has passed since I have blogged. Why? I'm not sure. It's probably just me trying to figure out my antidepressants, no biggie. I will get it figured! It's funny how the little things get you down and you feel so helpless, or hopeless. *sigh* Oh well, I won't go on and on about it! Lots has come and gone though. Kira's birthday, hooray she's 3! Christmas. My birthday (the 30th) (it's my birthday and i will cry if i want to) (worst birthday ever) (the day after, best belated birthday: the residents at the nursing home I work for, sang Happy Birthday to me! *awww*) New Years has also come and passed. It is now 2008. That is so weird, and hard to grasp yet. How was your New Years? Hope everyone had fun. I went to my boyfriends cousins house. Just like last year. We played Cranium, very fun game! Other stuff i have been doing? I've been scrapping a little here and there. hmmm, i didn't know this photo was so blurry when i took it, but it still looks cute. Sweet Pea: these photos were taken on a school day, Kira was playing in my lap and I was taking photos upside down. The LO out above is about random wishes/thoughts. shh, its a *SECRET*

haha...not really, it's just that I love Gossip Girl. You know the new hit show on the CW. By the creators of The O.C. *sigh* I miss the O.C. Oh well. They say too much tv is bad for you. Its the only show I watch for pleasure, so ha! (i don't count when the girls make me watch Dora or Spongebob! :] Anyway...back to Gossip Girl. Every week they always have great music!!! This week my sister (yes, she likes the show too) discovered The Pierces. And *SECRET* is a freakin' awesome song!! They are so rad! Enjoy :] Hope everyone is enjoying the *holidays*! I think I'm all done with the Xmas shopping! Hooray! I just have the stocking stuffers left to go. And Kira's birthday is coming soon. Dec. 21. Too close to Christmas, but what can you do? She will be 3 already!! soo that's all for a little while. a few hours later and i finally got my photos up!

here is a recent LO i finished. sorry it's so blurry. i guess i will have to start scanning them in again. if i can get my stupid printer to work. i've been having problems w. it lately :( so...i'm home sick today. i have an awful cold/sinus infection. and then i felt like i had the flu on top of it. yuck, not something i want to take to the nursing home with me. i wanted to leave a quick post w. my last little bit of energy, before i take a nap. oh and we're supposed to get more snow today! probably how i got sick in the first place. i went out to shovel after our first big snow and worked up a huge sweat. i could feel the heat emanating out of my coat when i would slow down for a second. oh well. getting snuggly in the blankies :) have an amazing day!

Happy Birthday to YOU!!

Blow out your candles!!!My little "Big" girl turned *7* yesterday. WOW! It is so hard to believe that she is seven! Yikes, sometimes the time sneaks away from you :) I let Kaci have a birthday party for her friends at school. Yep, we invited the whole class. Why not? Only three, yes three came last year. How bad could it be? Well, almost the whole class RSVP'd. 13 out of 17 kids. Plus her aunt Jakan and cousin Tori. I got lucky. Jesse had gotten the day off. (they were slow at work and told him not to come in.) I didn't realize how lucky I was until we got home. Oh, two of her classmates were sick, so we still ended up have total of 13 first graders :) Around 4 o'clock my mom came by to help too. She had promised to come over before I knew Jesse was going to be there. So...it was very nice to have both of them there. Jesse was very good w. the kids! Kaci got soooo many nice gifts! WOW, how lucky? And so far with cards in the mail, $50! Yeah, when I was little, I never got money. everyone made sure to get us 'real' gifts. Last summer I opened savings accounts for the girls. Hoping Kaci would learn more about saving money. (and hopefully be better at it than me!!!) Yes, she is very excited about getting money and watching it grow in her savings!
