save the drama for your mama...

Every time I want to get Kira's pictures done at Wal-Mart, it always fails. We end up leaving with her screaming and crying. She just doesn't like to sit up on that table. I don't get it. I never had this problem with Kaci. Well...I did, but she eventually got over it and let them take her picture. UGH! I tried setting up shop at my house. I had tried once before and it didn't work. It was for easter pics. My sister was there to help, but we didn't really get any good ones. Anyway, back to the main story. I set up some blankets over the couch and wall. Added some of our couch pillows for color and got out this cute pedestal my aunt gave me 6 years ago. It looked awesome. I figured, hey, we are in the comforts of our home. Can't be that bad. As the first picture shows, it must have been awful...haha... After awhile of trying I just decided to ignore her. I figured if I did that she'd mellow out and play with them on her own. And she did. Except when ever she saw the camera come out she would run and scream. I had to be very stealth. :) I think the bottom one isn't too bad. i wouldn't mind opinions. Is this a photo you would hang on the wall?

just saying *HI*. I have to run out of town, but I've got (kind of) lots to say! ...haha... I uploaded a bunch of photos and such. So hopefully when I get back, I can put up a good post :)

this is what i've been up to... I have finally been able to let a little scrapbooking done! Lately i just haven't had any ideas coming. I actually had two days off in a row, so maybe that helped me to relax a little :) haha...

i made this cute little journal for a "handmade crafty gift swap." i think it turned out really well. i've been feeling rather domestic lately. i like to cook, but baking is my passion. (probably why i keep putting on weight...anyway!) the girls helped with these yummy peanut butter cookies. it's always so fun to let them help add the ingredients and help squish the cookies with a fork! :)

Here's a postcard I recently made for a postcard lovers swap. I had a few of my favorite photos turned into postcards. This one is from 4th of July. Sparklers. Then I added a few *extras* on top. I thought I would personalize it alittle. The woman I was sending to was into collage, mostly recycle, reuse. Hope she likes...

This is so cute! Kaci (6), wrote her daddy a little note the other day. Since we got our pool table, quite often he goes into these awful sneezing fits that last at least 15 minutes. Yup, sneezing for almost 15 minutes straight. One day it got really bad, his eyes were red, he couldn't breath thru his nose. He looked sick. Well Kaci felt awful for him. So she wrote Jesse a note. It says, "I love you dad. I hope you get better soon, love Kaci. She did this all by herself. I was so impressed. My heart felt so full. I thought it was such a sweet show of affection. :) *luv* these guys!

More great grandma LOs. Having so much fun! It's nice to have a group of pictures to scrapbook that all go together for a theme. It kind of feels like it's going together good. Smoothly is a good term. :) Only a week and half away. Great grandma Fisher will be turning 100! Hooray for her!

And not to leave the littlest one out! She's a cutie too! Kira is 2 and 1/2 and has turned into a little terror lately :) Just that age I suppose. I know she's sad that Kaci is in school. It's probably why she's rebelling so much. ex: taking off all her clothes, removing her diaper, not wanting to try the potty, playing with the microwave, pushing chairs up to the counter to crawl around on, pushing the ottoman up to the pool table to get up on and lay around on. But like I said, she's cute too. She's learning to talk like crazy and say sentences. We had sloppy joes the other day and she started calling them 'crabby pattys' (from SpongeBob) and she's a total cutie in the white glasses!

first day of school

so here's my little girl. Kaci. She just started first grade last week. She *luvs* it! Thats a good thing. Kaci was ready to go back to school the day after school got out. :) She's cute! Yeah, wow! Can't believe she's in first grade now. I remember when I was in first grade. My teacher was Mrs. Couey. She was a sweet teacher. I loved school at the time too. Hooray for Kaci!
